Tesla has officially debuted in Delhi with the launch of its second showroom in India, set up in the Worldmark 3 complex at Aerocity. Following last month’s debut outlet in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, this marks another major milestone in the EV maker’s India expansion plan. Spanning 8,200 sq. ft., the Delhi facility is located right next to the IGI airport. At present, the company is only selling the Model Y electric SUV in India, with bookings now open.

The Model Y will be available in two versions. The Standard Range variant is priced at Rs 59.89 lakh, ex-showroom, and promises a claimed driving range of 500 km, while the Long Range model, tagged at Rs 67.89 lakh, can stretch up to 622 km on a single charge. Both are rear-wheel-drive EVs. The RWD version clocks 0–100 kmph in 5.9 seconds, while the Long Range RWD shaves that down to 5.6 seconds. Both are electronically limited to a top speed of 201 kmph. The Aerocity showroom is also home to India’s second Tesla Supercharger station. Like its Mumbai counterpart, the facility features four fast chargers. These DC chargers can add up to 238 km of range to the Standard model and 267 km to the Long Range in just 15 minutes. Tesla is already planning to expand its charging network rapidly. Upcoming Supercharger locations include Saket and Noida, followed by Gurugram’s Horizon Centre. Beyond the NCR, cities like Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur are also on the radar.
