In an interview with PTI, Konkona Sensharma expressed that luck has been on her side since she worked with directors and producers who were quite supportive. She shared, “I know how the industry works, and that I’m not going to actually get away with very short working hours.”

The actress stated that the projects she does are mostly of small or medium budgets, and hence, she has to plan her life according to them. She added that be it with her son, her father, or someone who has come to help her, “because one does need a bit of a community or a village. The village is disappearing. So, it’s a bit tough.”In the same interview, Konkona went on to share that balancing work and life is a challenge. She said, “It’s not like I’ve perfected it. We seek to maintain this balance every day, and we feel less and more every day.”The actress further shared that things can change “through conversations, discussions, unions, a little bit of protest, and a little bit of adjusting.” She acknowledged the fact that things were “much worse” before and a lot of it has become better in the current times.
