Bollywood actor-comedian Kapil Sharma will be hosting several musicians in the upcoming episode of his comedy show on OTT. The special guests are Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravijani, Shaan, and Neeti Mohan. During his candid, fun-filled comments, Kapil took a playful dig at veteran singer Udit Narayan over his kissing controversy.

Ahead of the episode’s release, the makers dropped the promo of the same on its social media handle. A part of the promo has gone viral, as it featured Kapil commenting on Udit Narayan.
In the video, one can watch the ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ actor saying, “Shaan bhai aur Udit sir, dono haste haste gaate hain, dono se milney fan stage par aatey hain. Yeh baat alag hai ki Shaan bhai jaadu ki jhappi detey hain aur Udit ji toh jaadu hi kar detey hain.” The clip also featured Kapil pulling Navjot Singh Sidhu‘s leg. Fans couldn’t stop themselves from dropping laughing emojis in the comment section. Some even expressed that the comedian-host should sometimes “hesitate.”
Udit Narayan’s kiss controversy
A video of Udit Narayan’s live concert surfaced on the internet in February this year. In the clip, he was seen kissing a female fan on the lips when she was going to give him a peck on his cheeks after clicking a selfie. The video received massive backlash, and people questioned the behaviour of a singer like Udit Narayan. Later, videos of him giving kisses to other female singers like Alka Yagnik and Shreya Ghoshal also went viral.Later, in a statement, Udit Narayan clarified that the video was from a concert in Australia which happened two years ago. Also, dismissing the flak, he called his behaviour gestures born out of fans’ “deewangi.”Meanwhile, this is the third season of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show. It started airing on June 21, 2025.
