BLACKPINK star Jisoo treated fans and BLINKS to a cute and comedic trailer of her new rom-com titled ‘Boyfriend on Demand’. The actress, who will be seen sharing screen space with Seo In-guk in the upcoming series, dropped the new trailer online, giving fans a look at the new series that blurs the lines between fantasy and reality. Set to premiere on March 6, the romantic comedy centres on a virtual dating subscription service, which allows users to experience their dream dates in a virtual world. Introducing the show, Jisoo vouched for the show as a ‘fun wach’ and said, “Boyfriend on Demand is a bouncy romantic comedy that tells the story of Mirae, who wants love but faces realistic problems and struggles as she grows up.”Seo In-guk added, “It is a unique work given by the subject matter. It is very appealing because it shows romance in virtual reality and in real life at once.”‘Boyfriend on Demand’ synopsisAs per the official synopsis, the series follows Seo Mi-rae (played by Jisoo), a webtoon PD who has grown accustomed to life without a boyfriend due to her hectic and exhausting work schedule. Her routine takes an unexpected turn when she enters the world of virtual dating. There, Mi-rae romances unrealistically perfect men, reawakening feelings she thought she buried forever.

The clip see her in various scenarios in the virtual world. From playing doctor to dancing at a ball and even enjoying a date by the sea, she seems to be doing it all. The clip also sees her puckering up for a kiss, however, the blink-and-you-miss-it scene was captivating enough to keep fans guessing. In the real world, Mi-rae finds herself constantly clashing with Park Kyeong-nam (Seo In-guk), a fellow webtoon PD and her workplace rival who comes across as distant and selfish, all while harbouring secrets of his own.
