Palash Muchhal’s wedding with Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana was set to be a grand affair on 23 November. Fans were eagerly waiting for the couple to tie the knot. However, celebrations came to an unexpected halt just hours before the ceremony as Smriti’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, developed heart attack‑like symptoms and was rushed to a hospital in Sangli. The sudden medical emergency forced both families to postpone the wedding indefinitely.

Cousin urges public not to judge Palash

Amid the resulting speculation, Palash’s cousin Neeti Tak has now broken her silence. Smriti Mandhana’s deleted wedding photos raised eyebrows

Her message has emerged amid online chatter after fans noticed that Smriti deleted her engagement announcement reel from Instagram. Palash emotionally affected by father-in-law’s health

The emotional strain extended to Palash as well. His mother told Hindustan Times that the singer shared a very close bond with Smriti’s father, and the situation deeply affected him. She said, “He cried so much that his health suddenly deteriorated. They kept him in the hospital for four hours. He was given an IV drip, an ECG was done, and other tests were carried out. Everything came back normal, but he is under a lot of stress.“
