NEW DELHI: An allegedly inebriated person created ruckus on Akasa’s Bengaluru-Delhi flight QP 1599 on October 20 right after boarding. According to sources, he first got into a spat with co-passengers and then even the crew which asked him to alight from the aircraft at Bengaluru. “He was so inebriated that he refused to alight and security had to be called to the aircraft. He had to be physically taken out of the aircraft and got into a spat with CISF personnel too. Proceedings have been initiated under him to be placed on the no fly list,” said sources.

An Akasa Air spokesperson said: “An incident of unruly behaviour involving a passenger took place on Akasa Air flight QP 1599 operating from Bengaluru to Delhi on October 20, 2025. Our crew followed the required safety protocols in line with our policies to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers. We stand firm on our zero-tolerance policies against unruly passenger behaviour.”
